BENCHMARKS continued

As the benchmark hunting season winds down for another year, M.C. (motto: Keep Right On to the End of the Road) and Benchmarker set out for Carlow Town. First one up was this one on the Dublin Road at the entrance to the convent.

Look closely to understand what happened here. This 'mark is on the stonework of a building on Patrick Street in Kilkenny City at the corner of Chapel Avenue. At some stage much of the stonework has been plastered over and now just a little of the leftmost side of the 'mark can be discerned.
