BENCHMARKS continued
Earlier this year, a long time ago now, just before the Summer that never was, M.C. supplied a computer disc containing images of several 'marks. Only now is it being mined for treasure. Within, amongst others, are ten 'marks from Leinster Road in Dublin City. They are somewhat unusual in that they are in extremely close proximity to each other. Perhaps only one or two of them is a true benchmark but the others are none the less interesting by virtue of their sheer number in such a small area.
Below: The 'marks outside No 54 Leinster Road and the house itself. The true 'mark at right is a good example of a 'flatie'.
