NUMBER 544

BENCHMARKS continued

On the memorial that commemorates the visit of King George IV to Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin in 1821, is this one spotted by M.C. after he had practically crawled over every square inch of it. Believe or not, it is extremely difficult to spot.

Below: The 'mark on the Testimonial to King George the Fourth at Queen's Road, Dun Laoghaire.

Above: In this west facing view of the monument, oblivious of the treasure just behind her, a woman gazes longingly towards the shopping centre. The 'mark is located between the two supporting orbs nearest.
