The intention with this website is to locate at least 1,001 benchmark sites, or die in the attempt (no flowers please, house private). Photos of any benchmark sites found will be posted at intervals over the coming days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries ... NUMBER 796

BENCHMARKS continued

Another one from the camera of Michael Byrne and it too was spotted while on a ramble on the Cliff Walk from Bray. It's located about 20 minutes into the walk so perhaps that would make it about a mile south of the start of the walk; or for our continental visitors, about 1.5 kilometres.
