NUMBER 894

BENCHMARKS continued



This one in Newbridge in County Kildare from Michael Byrne is on the right hand arch of the front door at the west end of Saint Patrick's Church (1815). The church is nestled on a fork in the road, created by Standhouse Road to the North and Moorefield Road to the south, in Newbridge.

BENCHMARKS continued

The news just in is that Saint Patrick's R.C. Church in Wicklow Town has been extensively damaged in a fire today. M.C. recorded this 'mark on the church during the height of Summer.
