BENCHMARKS continued

Last summer M.C. recorded a number of the 'marks that are on the West Pier in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin. The first of these is a tad south-west of a point directly across from the end of Dunleary Pier.

A rather unusual one found by M.C. at the west gate of Carton Demesne in County Kildare. It's on a free-standing stone close to the gate. It appears that many 'marks which are now gone were of this type.
