This
one in Edinburgh, Scotland, from Michael Byrne is on Princes
Street opposite it's junction with Frederick Street.
Below:
A 'mark on Princes Street,
Edinburgh.
Above:
On Princes Street and looking north east and with the 'mark
at bottom right, peeping out from behind the junction box. Michael
Byrne added this “at this point, I am totally convinced that
ScottishPower and their like, have an absolute penchant for placing
their junction boxes squarely over benchmarks. Far too many are
neatly covered in this way to be considered a coincidence. No doubt
they have a van driving around, spotting Benchmarks from the front of
the cab while munching on breakfast rolls, and designating any found
to be covered over with a junction box. The "why?" is
unimportant, as the truth will out when The Scottish Informer or some
such tabloid will headline an article "95% of Junction Boxes
Found to be Completely Empty". (rant over) .” Benchmarker has
extended a right of reply to ScottishPower should it wish to attempt
to justify this heinous crime.
