Another 'back of the sofa' gem from M.C. It's a brickie, located between the front doorways of Numbers 59 and 61 Clonskeagh Road in Dublin.

Above: Clonskeagh Road looking towards Ashton's. The 'mark is on the brickwork just to the left of the red door. Benchmarker is much taken with the old cast-iron coal-hole cover. They don't make them like that anymore.

BENCHMARKS continued

Three of the 'marks recorded by M.C. on his late Spring safari, seem to have somehow fallen down the back of Benchmarker's sofa. Benchmarker hadn't noticed their loss but M.C. raised the alarm. A successful search resulted and we bring them to you now. The first is on Anglesea Bridge on Morehampton Road in Dublin.
