Below: M.C. Spotted what appears to be an upside down 'mark across the road on the other side of the bridge. Benchmarker believes it is simply an arrow pointing to something buried underground there eg a cable or a pipe. In the interests of world peace it is included here but not as a 'mark. Sorry.

Look closely to understand what happened here. This 'mark is on the stonework of a building on Patrick Street in Kilkenny City at the corner of Chapel Avenue. At some stage much of the stonework has been plastered over and now just a little of the leftmost side of the 'mark can be discerned.
