NUMBER 308

BENCHMARKS continued

M.C. took his life in his hands in avoiding the traffic while recording this one on railway bridge UBR 167 near Rathnew, County Wicklow.

Below: The 'mark on Bridge UBR 167.
Above: The underside of the bridge with the 'mark just between the central yellow rectangle and the pavement. With an acuity that rivals that of Sherlock Holmes, Benchmarker has concluded that the letters 'O' and 'U' in these bridge signs, means 'over' and 'under' respectively. It's elementary, old chap.
