NUMBER 550

BENCHMARKS continued



This one from M.C. is at the junction of River Lane and Main Street, Arklow, County Wicklow. It's on one of those types of bollards that protected the corner walls of buildings from being damaged by the wheels of heavy carts turning into or out of narrow junctions or entrance ways.

M.C. was in Arklow, County Wicklow for this one. It's on the Bank of Ireland building at the junction of Main Street and Upper Main Street at a place called Parade Ground.
