BENCHMARKS continued

Michael Byrne points out that while the Flush Bracket Benchmark on the Triangulation Point pillar atop Calton Hill, is undoubtedly a 'mark, that the actual Trig Pillar itself can also be classed as a 'mark, because (as the photo shows) the surveyors fixed their equipment into the mechanics on top of the pillar.
